Men's Group
The Bible does not pull its punches. It warns that it is tough to stand up and be counted as a Christian man in society, at work, at home, and at play. This is not an excuse for apathy. The aim of the Men’s Group is therefore:
"encouraging and equipping men in their God given role of MEN".
Breakfast
We seek to fulfil our aim by meeting together for breakfast usually on the third Saturday of the month at 8:30 – 9:30am in the Church Centre. We usually have an invited speaker to stimulate our thinking about how to live as Christian men. We start and finish promptly so the rest of the day is free for family/work/leisure time.
Our theme for this Spring term 2010 is: "A Few Good Men - Inspirational Biblical Role Models for Today's Men"

But we suggest a £3-4 contribution to cover costs only.

Each year we attend the Northern Men's Convention in Manchester.

Football
We play football every Tuesday evening from 7:00-8:00pm at Egerton Youth Club. This open to men of all ages and abilities.
Our team, formed for the 2006-7 season, “The Toft Tornados”, is also entered into the South Manchester and Cheshire Christian Football League. Check out their own website for details of training and fixtures.
