Services

We have 3 main services on Sundays, each with priority given to the reading and preaching of God’s Word, the Bible, but each with a distinctive style.

8:45am

This is a traditional Anglican service of Holy Communion, where we use the 1662 Book of Common Prayer. This service tends to be quieter in nature and our hymns, old and new, are organ–led. The sermon is the same as at 10.15.

10:15am

This is the main morning service where we come together as the family of God, with people of all ages and backgrounds. To enable all ages to be taught the bible in a way that’s best for them, we have a crèche for babies and toddlers, a junior church for children up to 10 and a Pathfinder group for 10-13s.
  • The 3rd Sunday of the month is a service of Holy Communion.
  • Music at the 10.15 service is a blend of traditional hymns and modern songs, accompanied by organ and music group.
  • All our sermons are recorded and can be accessed here.
10:15am FAMILY SERVICE

On the first Sunday of the month, we have a separate service for parents with young children. This relaxed informal service is held in the church centre at the same time as the main morning service.

Do join us for this if you have pre-school children.

6:30pm

This service takes place in our church centre and is more informal in nature. Although there is an age range from pre-teens to mid nineties at this service, it is particularly popular with 20-30s and accessible to those not used to church. We use the big screen for video input, news, interviews and events. Our music is led by the band. As well as regular sermon series, in this service we also have more in-depth monthly lectures.

After each of our services there is a time to chat and get to know one another over coffee in our church centre.

Don’t forget to visit our information desks to find out what is happening, to make contact with us if you are new to us, or to leave notes and prayer requests for the staff team.

Wednesday Communion

This short service takes place at 11am on Wednesdays in church. On the 1st Wednesday of the month, our ACF group join us and then put on a simple lunch afterwards, to which all are welcome.

We have good wheelchair access to our church and centre. In our morning services we have an induction loop and large print service books. The 6.30 service is amplified.
