Prayer

We believe prayer is vital for Christian ministry and growth. Consequently emphasis is placed upon our parish prayer meetings in St John’s.

Monthly "Prayer Gathering"
This takes place on the first Wednesday of the month. We meet between 8-9pm in the Church Centre to pray for the work and ministry in St John’s, the missions we support, and for needs in our nation and the world.

Weekly Sunday Evening Prayer
The second is the weekly Sunday evening prayer meeting prior to the evening service. Here we specifically pray for the ministry of the Sunday services. This runs between 6:10-6:20pm.
