St Johns has a small but active group of people in their 20s and 30s who enjoy getting together for friendship, fellowship and a variety of different activities.
Our community is focused around the Sunday services, of course, with many people going to both the 10:15 and the 18:30 service. Others choose to go to one or the other, with the evening service being the more popular.
After the evening service, a group usually finds its way down to one of the local pubs for a drink or two, and a chance to talk about the service that’s just happened, and enjoy each others’ company before the new week begins. On any given night there can be between 8 and 20 people, depending on how many turn up! And no – we don’t mind if you’re a little younger or a little older!
There are other impromptu events that happen – meals out, drinks, games nights, movie trips and walks, and so forth. These get organised on a casual basis either when meeting at the pub on Sunday nights, or via a Facebook group chat. If you would like to be a part of that group chat, please just ask someone at church when you come along, or inquire at the office and they’ll put you in touch with the right people!
Please do feel free to come along to any service and say hello – there will be a warm welcome to you and it’d be great to welcome you into the group, whether you are just passing through Knutsford or staying longer!
