Food, fellowship and fun…
St John’s runs regular men’s and women’s events, including our popular breakfasts which are a great way to start your weekend in a relaxed and friendly environment.
As men we aim to meet a number of times throughout the year, sometimes eating together. Often we have a speaker to stimulate our thinking about how to live as Christian men.

Men’s Weekend Away – 7-9 September, 2018
For this event we join with groups of men from other churches at Capernwray Hall, Lancashire. Come and enjoy a weekend break filled with excellent Bible teaching, stirring worship and hearty food. There are great facilities for you to enjoy on your own or with your church group. Early morning swimming, indoor football or a visit to the clay shoot can fill the leisure time. Or slow down in the coffee shop, the lounges, or just sleep! You will be welcomed, encouraged and challenged. For early birds there are some single and twin rooms. Otherwise it’s dormitory living.
